MOTION VIDEO X-RAY
Motion e-xray is an incredible technology that shows more than your typical still x-ray. Videofluoroscopy is a unique technology that Estes chiropractic utilizes to examine skeletal health in motion. It's the only system like it in the tri state area. It's able to detect underlying issues that normal x-rays don't see. Not only do we utilize this technology but we show you the results and talk through the results real time.
STATE OF THE ART DROP TABLE
We utilize special drop tables that are easy to access on and off for our patients. This makes it possible for somebody in acute pain or limited mobility to easily get on comfortably. We can adjust pregnant women, kids, adults with chronic pain, and more. This really makes sure that our patients have a comfortable visit!
EASY PAYMENT OPTIONS
Our payment process is simple. We offer a flat price per visit. We actually lowered our visit price when we dropped insurance so that we could be more economical and provide better care to our community. After your visit you have settled up immediately and no extra bills are sent after. You can still use your HSA or flex card for your visit. You can also use your insurance but your reimbursement will need to be filed for separately on your own

MEET THE BACK BROTHERS
Dr. Kelly Estes D.C.
Dr. Kelly was born and raised in Paducah, Kentucky. He graduated from Heath High School and attended Murray State University. After receiving his
undergraduate degree, he went to Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia, where in 1992 he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
After graduation, Dr. Kelly had the opportunity to work with Dr. Vernon Pierce for three months. He was an innovator in the chiropractic profession, creating the video fluoroscopy x-ray machine and the precision adjusting instrument, known as ‘the jackhammer’. Through Dr. Pierce’s encouragement and financial loan, Kelly was able to open his practice with the best equipment and technology that the chiropractic field had to offer. This included the video fluoroscopy x-ray, the Zenith high-low tables, and the precision adjusting instruments. In October 1992,
Kelly founded Estes Chiropractic Center on Central Avenue in Paducah. While in chiropractic school he met Kenya Osburne, who was from Marietta,
Georgia. In June of 1993 he and Kenya were married at East Side Baptist in Marietta. Dr. Kelly and Kenya are embracing the ‘empty nest’ years as their 3 sons have all graduated college and moved away. The oldest, Bennett, is married to Gabby and lives in Louisville. Layton, the middle son, is married to Allie and lives in Memphis. The youngest, Cade, is living and working in Knoxville.
In March of 2023 Dr. Kelly was diagnosed with an inoperable benign brain tumor. The tumor affects the vision in his left eye but is currently in remission. Despite these challenges, Dr. Kelly remains dedicated to the care of his patients. He continues working full time and looks forward to seeing new and old patients in the office.
Dr. Kevin Estes D.C.
Dr. Kevin Estes was born and raised in Paducah, Ky. He graduated from Heath High School and attended PCC where he completed his undergraduate classes. Kevin then proceeded to Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where he graduated in 1994 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He returned to Paducah and joined his brother Kelly as a partner at Estes Chiropractic Center.
In 1995, he met Julie Luse while she was working as a nurse at Murray Hospital. Kevin and Julie married in 1996 at Olivet Baptist Church. They have 2 grown daughters, Jaden and Micah. Kevin and Julie are enjoying the empty nest period of life which includes biking, hiking, and vacationing as often as they can. Dr. Kevin’s favorite hobby is working in his yard. He and Julie love Jesus and attend Church 0419.
Dr. Kevin enjoys caring for all ages because he knows the benefits chiropractic adjustments have on the body, no matter the age. He has completed several post graduate seminars on treating pregnant women, babies, and kids to senior adults.

What is videofluoroscopy and how is it helpful?
The role of videofluoroscopy in the evaluation of abnormalities of spinal motion has been discussed in textbooks, medical journals, and chiropractic publications. Observational and case cases have appeared in the literature comparing the diagnostic yield of fluoroscopic studies vs. plain films. In addition, studies have been published reporting abnormalities detected by fluoroscopy which could not be assessed using plain films.
What does a typical first appointment look like?
In your first visit at Estes Chiropractic Center we will have an in initial consultation and evaluation where we sit down with you to understand your current pain you are experience. Every patient is different so we want to learn what your health goals are and get to know you. After that we will take some initial x-rays including our videofluoroscopy technology to examine your spinal health. We show you the video replay of your x-ray and explain exactly what we are seeing in the x-ray that way you are completely informed. After that, we will finish up the visit with an adjustment in our patient rooms with our easy to access chiropractor tables.
